Founded in 1987 by Rick Ferris, Source Packaging of N.E. was initially a provider of custom packaging solutions to companies in a wide range of industries. In the early 1990's, Source began to specialize in the development and supply of custom containers for temperature sensitive products. Today, our only business is supplying stock and custom designed thermal packaging to the pharmaceutical, biotech and medical industries.

Source Packaging of N.E. offers hundreds of different expanded polysterene (EPS) and high performance rigid methane (HPRU) stock containers. These products have been tested and qualified for specific cold chain applications.

Source also provides "custom container development" to assist our clients in the safe shipping of highly sensitive materials. Through our Source Technology Group division, we offer start-to-finish container development, with the final product a fully-qualified,
fully-compliant packaging solution.

Source Packaging of N.E. works with the best materials manufacturers and the latest technologies in the cold chain industry. This allows Source to offer our clients the best possible solutions because we are not limited by internal manufacturing limitations. We also benefit significantly through our "sister-company" relationship with Source Packaging of Ramsey, New Jersey, a provider of custom packaging for non-temperature sensitive applications. Our combined packaging development experience enables us to deliver the most cost effective solutions for our clients.
